Hello again luvss. My life is taking off at the moment and last night I thought for the first time, "Be careful what you wish for." I wanted to share with you some good stuff regarding relationships. While working on my TV show with my now husband (oh yeah I got married this January!!), I have learned that the busier I am, the easier I am to handle in a romantic relationship. I venture to say that this is not uncommon. As a girl, I have to say that we tend to obsess over ridiculous issues, especially if we have free time in our hands. We tend to drive our man crazy because when our lives slow down a bit, we search for re assurance in our significant other. This, my dear chicas is a fight waiting to happen.

One of the main differences between men and women is the way that our minds function. Men tend to be very much hands-on and out of mind, out of sight. They show up to function within the roles that they occupy in different facets of their lives.

Women, on the other hand, show up to produce as well, but we also carry a lot of other "issues" in our minds. Yes, we ARE complicated. We ruminate about the silliest things, and they usually have to do with other women. Yes, competition... oh that damn curse that we carry!

Unfortunately many women today, have sabotaged their own growth by being concerned about what other women think of us, sometimes we are even more concerned about women than men. We want to feel as though we are in front of the pack, and seek confirmation very frequently. While all this "comparing" is going on, the energy spent on this, takes away from u, and this drives our men crazy. They don't understand why we don't see ourselves how they see us... with love and acceptance.

I have learned recently that my way of judging myself is much more harsh than how others view me. I have stopped myself from pursuing opportunities because I thought that I had "read" someone accurately and their opinion of me (in my mind) was not positive, thus stopping me from moving forward. WHY NOT GO THROUGH IT ANYWAY AND LET THEM TELL YOU THEIR THOUGHTS ABOUT YOU INSTEAD? When you start practicing this, you will see that most of your "interpretations" surfaced  from your own insecurities, and they are inaccurate.

Girlies: this is what I will leave you with today:

Pursue two new tasks a day and don't be the one to stop yourself from doing it out of fear. Allow someone else to tell you yes or no. The worst that can happen is that someone says no, the best that can happen is that you succeed!

Work on clearing the cobwebs in your mind... replace negative and self defeating thoughts with ACTION. Get up and do it. STOP THINKING OR TALKING ABOUT IT!

I want to hear your feedback! Thanks for reading. Stella :)
